The OstroVit product contains alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), found primarily in flaxseed oil, as well as eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which are primarily sourced from fatty ocean fish.

Omega-6 fatty acids are essential unsaturated fatty acids that are components of cell membranes. The OstroVit Omega 3-6-9 supplement contains linoleic acid (LA) derived from sunflower and flaxseed oils, which is also found in other vegetable oils, such as grape seed oil.

Omega-9 fatty acids are unsaturated fats; the representative used in the OstroVit product is oleic acid (OA). Its primary dietary source is olive oil; however, oleic acid is also found in canola oil, hazelnut oil, sunflower oil, and flaxseed oil.
