Zdravý den® organic roasted coffee beans come from the Chanchamayo region of Peru in the heart of the rainforest.
It is 100% Arabica coffee of the Typica, Yellow and Red Bourbon, Cattura and Pache varieties.
The coffee bushes grow at altitudes from 1400m to 1900m in the shade of the large trees of the rainforest, with respect for the environment and the indigenous landscape.
They are cultivated according to the rules of organic farming.
Due to the high altitude, the coffee fruit (cherries) ripens slowly.
The result is a fragrant, flavourful coffee with a pleasant taste of flowers, almonds and hazelnuts that lingers in the mouth for a long time.
In order to preserve the high quality and maximum flavour, the ripe coffee cherries are hand-harvested and wet-processed at the point of harvest.
Recommended use: for 1 serving (100ml) use at least 2 levelled teaspoons (approx. 7g) of ground coffee. Pour hot water at an optimum temperature of around 90°C (90°F) over the coffee.
