Organic roasted ground coffee Zdravý den® comes from Peru, from the Chanchamayo region in the heart of the rainforest. It is 100% Arabica coffee of the Typica, yellow and red Bourbon, Cattura and Pache varieties.
Coffee bushes grow at an altitude of 1400m to 1900m in the shade of large rainforest trees with respect for the environment and the original landscape.
They are grown according to the rules of organic farming.
The high altitude causes the coffee cherries to ripen slowly. This results in a fragrant, flavourful coffee with a pleasant aftertaste of flowers, almonds and hazelnuts that lingers in the mouth for a long time. To maintain high quality and maximum flavour, ripe coffee cherries are harvested by hand and processed using the so-called wet method at the harvest site.
Recommended use : For 1 serving (100ml), use at least 2 level teaspoons (approx. 7g) of ground coffee. Pour hot water over the coffee, the optimum temperature being around 90°C.
