Since the level of collagen in the body decreases with age due to the natural ageing process, it is worthwhile to supply the body with this compound externally - collagen is found in the bones or tendons of animals, among other things, and is also available in the form of dietary supplements. The marine collagen type I used in OstroVit is a source of hydrolysed fish collagen peptides, which resemble human collagen in structure. However, this makes the substance perfectly absorbed by the human body.
Hyaluronic acid is an organic chemical compound which is a polysaccharide of the glycosaminoglycan group. It is a substance that is found in all living organisms and in the human body is part of the intercellular matrix of the dermis and is a major component of synovial fluid. With age, the content of hyaluronic acid in the body decreases - a good solution may then be to supply this compound to the body from outside. OstroVit uses sodium hyaluronate - a derivative of hyaluronic acid in the form of a sodium salt, a form that occurs naturally among organisms, which has a positive effect on the bioavailability of the compound.
Vitamin C also known as ascorbic acid, is an essential organic chemical compound classified as a water-soluble vitamin. It is an exogenous substance that the body cannot synthesize on its own, so it must be supplied externally. This ingredient can be found in foods in fresh fruits and vegetables, including peppers, kohlrabi, oranges and blackcurrants, as well as in dietary supplements.
Properties of the ingredients in OstroVit Marine Collagen + Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin C:
Vitamin C helps in the proper formation of collagen for the proper functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage and gums, teeth and skin. In addition, it contributes to proper energy metabolism and helps maintain optimal psychological function. L-ascorbic acid also supports proper functioning of the nervous and immune systems and helps to reduce fatigue and exhaustion. This compound enhances iron absorption and also aids in the regeneration of the reduced form of vitamin E. Vitamin C supports the protection of cells from oxidative stress and helps maintain proper functioning of the immune system system during and after intense physical exercise.
