BIO Dulse Zdravý den® flakes are seaweed (Palmaria palmata) that grows in the clean environment of the cold waters of the French coast on the rocks in the area between high and low tide. It has fan-shaped leaves of a dark red color. It is harvested by hand when the leaves grow to a length of 20-40 cm.
It is a rich source of iodine , which contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones, normal thyroid function, normal nerve function and normal energy-yielding metabolism. It is used in cooking, in soups, sauces, to season salads, smoothies and other dishes. It can also be used as a spice or salt substitute. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
